Thanks to all that came out to participate in the match. I want to especially thank Seth, Tino, Rob K. and Jeff S for getting this match on the ground. Jesse scored 555.0012 match points for a 64.02% of the Limited Division Winner. Jesse only started shooting a year ago and can be found at the matches with his mother and younger brother Lee. Alan Meek Fellow shooters, I am beyond speechless. In less than 36 hours, the 2010 Techwear Area 8 match has blossomed into a tour de force! As of this evening, we are nearly fully staffed. All 10 stages have an excellent CRO assigned to them and a top shelf crew of ROs and assistants to make the match run like a fine Swiss watch. I congratulate everyone for rearranging your lives and making sure that we put on the best show we can. For those that have committed to officiate, you will receive hotel and assignment emails from myself or Jeff Salzberg within the week. For those that are building, we will begin on July 31st at 7am. The plan is to rough out the match this weekend and then enjoy the advantage and polish the stages to perfection over the course of August. If you have the time, please join us on the range Saturday or Sunday morning. The regular Fredericksburg match will take place as always. The stages will not reflect the Area match. Personally, I’d like to take a second and thank Tino DiMattina, Rob Karp, Dan Chandler, and, of course, Jeff Salzberg (my consigliere) for all the counsel, assistance and moral support to undertake such a monumental task in such short order. We have the privilege of building a match on the foundation that Alan has dutifully built this year. This will prove to be an outstanding match and a great experience for all involved… staff and shooter. Thanks again. There are plenty of slot available for anyone interested in shooting the match. On a more important note, this match is in desperate need of staff. The TechWear USA 2010 Area 8 Championship can not happen and will not be successful with the cadre of dedicated hardworking volunteers that give so much to the match. We still need CRO’s, RO’s, General Helpers and a crew to build the match the week prior. If you can work even a day it will contribute greatly to the success of the match.
